A Wetherd Garage custom painted helmet can be anything you can imagine.
You can send us your own idea, photo, drawing, cartoon, and or a photo of the image you want us to duplicate. You can mix and match designs of your favorite racers or ask us to come up with something totally original.
Yes, our design team will guide you through the process to help you come up with the best design based on your budget and time frame.
Our artists will provide a rendering of your helmet design for you to review and approve.
Of course the paint colors and art on your helmet will be much richer and colorful, and the art will be more precise.
Renderings never give the finished art justice..
It depends on the amount of art and colors on your helmet, along with the workload in the paint shop.
Normally it takes 6 to 12 weeks from the time we receive the helmet and art is approved.
If it’s simply adding a name and number to a new helmet, we’d need 10 to 15 working days.
We love to add art to special possessions. We enjoy painting bicycle frames, guitars, surfboards, tricycles etc..
Really, we just like painting cool stuff. Contact the Paint Department to discuss your project before sending your special possession.
